  • Developed 40,000 lines of Python testing code for 11 Mars rover embedded software modules, including motor control, drive system, power, and telecommunications.

  • Improved automated testing infrastructure by writing internal scripting tool used to generate system architecture integration tests from Excel sheet inputs.

  • Discovered and reported 6 Flight Software bugs that would have caused mission failure, using JIRA system to communication findings and track fixes.

Instruments Mechanical Engineer

  • Designed mission-critical components for small satellite currently in Earth orbit.

  • Eliminated errors in main instrument design, drawing PCBs with Solidworks and working with Fabrication team to design for manufacturability.

  • Researched PEEK bracket geometry for payload to chassis interfaces to prevent screw shearing during launch operations based on thermal vacuum and vibration testing.
